Learn to sew on a sewing machine - includes lots of basic techniques to get you started.
A great introduction to sewing for a beginner to gain confidence and be inspired to sew bags, cushions and clothes. We will learn how to thread a sewing machine, sew seams and hems, insert a zip, buttonholes, make an envelope cushion, learn applique and lots more besides. In the afternoon we make a lovely bag out of gorgeous fabric.
Small group allows for full attention and lots of fun!.
£45.00 inc all materials as well as tea and afternoon cake.

About our Tutors
All our quilt tutors are members of The Quilter’s Guild of the British Isles and regularly exhibit their work. They all have, or are studying towards their City and Guilds qualifications in Patchwork and Quilting.
Terms and Conditions
Places on courses are only confirmed on receipt of full payment. Places can be booked in the shop, over the phone with a debit/credit card or through posting a cheque. If you wish to cancel a place, a refund minus a 10% administration fee will only be offered up to 14 days before the date of the first session.
We reserve the right to cancel courses due to reasons such as tutor illness. In the unlikely event this may happen, you will be given a full refund - please ensure we have up to date contact details on your booking form.
